Over the weekend I completed the new aluminum crank frame that is properly sized. The design is based on the Phantasmechanics design. I also touched up the cheezecloth layout and I must say I’m pretty happy with the final results.

Had to stop in CVS to pick up some stuff for the wife. Decided to walk down the center aisle to see if they had put any of the Halloween stuff out. No luck on that, summer stuff still there but marked down for clearance. Then my eyes caught a huge box in the center [...]
Today while out at lunch I completed another character sketch (one more to go of the planned character additions and changes). This one is a character known only as Zann (so named after Lovecraft’s Erich Zann). Eyeless and with lips sewn nearly shut, Zann stands near the entrance to the temple playing a haunting melody [...]
Tonight I spent some time sketching out some of the characters from the Forlorn Haunting Grounds – one of which is a concept by my seven year old daughter (Queen of Monsters) called Alesica.

The basement area I’ll be working in this year is mostly organized the way I want it. I’m actually comfortable enough with it to share some early pics. As you can see, Joe is on the table and in position for cosmetic surgery. I need to hook up my old monitor (the thing is a [...]
Halloween Prop Building In Restrospect
The recent decisions made last week regarding the Necropolis Manor haunt has allowed me to reflect on the various things I’ve created or have wanted to create over the last few years. I stepped away to take a look in on my motivations, designs, and delusions of grandeur.
I’ve been creating Halloween [...]
Greetings everyone! I know it’s been a while since I’ve updated, I’ve been quite busy this year with all the little fun things life likes to throw our way from time to time. I come bearing both good news and bad news. I always like to start with the bad news first (sue me, I’m an [...]
